Cosmos Seeds - Fizzy Pink
Average Packet Content 30 seeds
This is a lovely series with double and semi-double flowers, charming and exuberant, with wonderfully frothy petals. These attractive flowers are also excellent for cutting. Every garden should have some Cosmos bipinnatus - they're so easy to grow, colourful and with a very long flowering season. Flowers June-September. Height 80-90cm (31-35"); spread 60-70cm (23-27").
Sow in a propagator on a windowsill or in a greenhouse at 18-21ºC using a good quality compost. Cover the seeds with 6mm (½") of compost and keep moist. (Germination 7-14 days). Transplant seedlings into individual small pots and grow on. Acclimatise plants to outside conditions before planting out 40cm (16") apart in a sunny position. Can also be sown directly into the garden March-May for late summer flowering.
